These earrings are one of a kind—designed to celebrate the beauty of BIPOC women and encourage a life filled with joy, wellness, and authenticity. More than just jewellery, they’re gentle reminders to live each day with intention, positivity, and self-celebration.
They are named after Barbara May Cameron, a two-spirit lesbian writer, poet, and photographer. She co-founded Gay American Indians in 1975, the first organization for Indigenous LGTQ+ people in the U.S. She also fought for indigenous visibility in queer spaces and vice versa, and was a strong advocate for human rights, HIV/AIDS awareness, and Native Women's Health.
These earrings are hand-made by the owner of this store, an indigenous woman living and studying in Toronto, Ontario. Her values include prioritizing authenticity, ethicality, social equality, and making a positive impact on the world.
Purchasing these earrings supports BIPOC women and challenges socio-economic barriers while looking stylish at the same time. These earrings are high-quality and built to last. Buy now while they are still available.
